Welcome to the portfolio of painting and
I was born in Milan - Italy and moved to UK in my 20es. I lived in London, and worked as a tattoo artist in Brixton at Blackline - that I opened in 2003 - for a decade before moving to Torquay in the South West where I tattoo and run Blackline 2.0.
My personal work utilises a variety of artistic styles and techniques to better convey the meaning and feeling of each piece. I'm currently exploring concepts that might pose questions, especially about history, and I love creating personal connections and reflective discussions. I'm mainly interested in examining the existentialistic approach of finitude and its historical collocation, the concept of time and space, absolute, memories, and my journey of doubt , delving in the essence of our past using old postcards, book pages and music sheets as lost messages in metaphorical bottles.
I'm a full-time tattooer and illustrator working in my Torquay shop: Blackline 2.0.
Serious inquiries only. Thank you!

I use many different mediums, such as copic, acrylics, pastels, metallic paint and golden leaf. I believe that working in a single medium is restrictive to my artistic process.
I find inspirations in the pages of history, in the books of Sartre and Heidegger, in the poetry of T.S.Eliot and the short stories of Bukowski. Basically everywhere...
